No one to match till date,
He respires after I say, "Ate"..
Runs around all day to gather life,
Sits at the end of day to pen about his future wife..
We fight on most and don have a single thing in common,
Yet the band revolves around us like that on saturn..
Isn't easy for us to get along nor part,
We love each other a lot..
He is my dad and son,
I m his sis and mom..

I simply said Auuuuuussssssssooooommmmmmmmmmmmm.........!!!!!!!!!! :)
A Perfect start to a saturday - Power cut..!!!!!!!!
OK, before moving on to the actual story, a small preface.. Parents had come down for a weekend to Bangalore.. For Dad it was a long weekend surprisingly and for mom, bored of CBE she said.. Well, I would never say that.. Grass is greener on the other side always..
Dad,,,, is an extreeeeeeeeeeemely busy person.. As a lawyer, he handles multiple things in a day except FAMILY and he never gets reminded of such a thing until someone mentions. Not that he has lesser concern towards us, but he just doesn't have time for anything.. Till I completed school, he never had in his mind which class i was doing and in college, which year or sem I was in.. Me or mom, never took him seriously that way, after all we are supposed to understand him and his profession.. :) :)
Mom - a home maker - busier than Dad - in taking care of me.. :) For her, its all about me an Dad.. She had always wanted to be with me in banglore, but wouldn't leave Dad alone.. Her greatest tension in life is to balance her time between me and dad.. No IIMs could match her in that.. ;) :) [No offence my dear IIM friends]
Me, an only [rather lonely] child of my sweet parents, always wondering about the fact "why don't i have any siblings???".. Quite silly, that even after completing my 23rd year, I keep asking them , why don't i have an elder or younger brother [En kashtam enku :-( ] they show great amount of patience in answering this question of mine.
when I was in School, the answer was: Nanga than pa, unku ellam.. Me: Sigh...!!!!!!!
when I was in coll, it was: U have so many good friends na.. Avangala ellam anna va nenachukko.. Me: As if I don know that.. :P
Now: Nanga try panninom, workout agala.. Wat to do.. Me: Ada pongappa... :(
The Preface would have more or less made it clear why I was so excited about them being in Bangalore with me for 2 whole days..!!!! :)
From now on, if i mention "We" its me and Dad, as we think and do the same, infront of Mom..!! And "They" stands for Mom and Dad, as i m a Partial Blrean now (I assume) and got to explain things they see here..
Now back again: A Perfect start to a saturday - Power cut..!!!!!!!!
Me, mom and Dad never woke up before 8 in the morning, a tradition that we've been following since the days I remember...
I love and enjoy those 'early' morning moments when me and dad brush through the newspaper [before brushing ofcourse :) ], mom brings coffee and sits along with us.. That is how our day is supposed to begin and continue till 9 am.. Places are no constraints, Was the same in Blr too.. :)
Lethargy was putting us to sleep almost, when mom suddenly screamed, "Heeyyyyyyyyyyyy, Wake up u lazy bugs.. Take me out somewhere, don shut me inside four doors and make me cook here also.. U have the best times in life without me in ur respective places and when it comes to me, u people are tired.. Wake up... Wake up..!!!" We were like, "OK, OK, relax.."
Me: Dad, u first go take bath, I'll be ready to go next..
Dad: Noo, U go no.. Pls.. I'll take very less time actually..
Mom: Ushoooooooooooooooooo...........!!!!
Me and dad went inside 2 bathrooms and shut the doors unable to bear the heat in her words.. :)
Finally, We had our Brunch and were ready by 1 pm.. ;) Mom was furious.. :)
Bus was an unknown means of Commutation for me since i came to Blr, but that day i was in a mood to try out all the unexplored.
A bus to Majestic.. From there, to Chikpet for Saree shopping was the plan..
I don't understand why, but mom got excited on seeing everything in blr.. The bus journey was no exception for her.. :)
We got dropped near Chikpet, walked for a considerable distance when we encountered Kamath hotel [For Non-blreans, Known for simple authentic Karnataka food]. "Coffee, coffee", me and Dad animated.. Mom,"Ada pavingala, i thought u just had lunch". Dad, "There's always space for coffee, especially Blr coffee.." We are coffee addicts u know, except mom.. she hates it..
After an awesome coffee in that crowded place, we resumed our walk.. "Juice, Juice", this was mom's turn.. We had to say OK this time, but why don't we also try.. All 3 of us had juice.. [Note the point that this was just 10 mins after the coffee (cha, Dad's lingo stuck on to me also.. :( )]. Mom din like much of the stuff and picked very few things.. Ok Fine, lets get out of this place we thought, until we saw a small Dookan selling Vada paavs.. They din't understand what these meant, while i took the privilege of explaining, that it was nothing more than a Vada kept inside a bun.. (Namma oorla apdi than sollvanga, I added on..) Mom just took the vada alone, whereas me and dad relished the whole thing.. We liked it too.. :) It was 4 in the evening and was FastFood time.. Started hunting for Pani poori stalls, found one, had enough and moved to the bus stand.
Straight back to my place, but before that Mom wanted to go to Perumal Kovil[Saturday, u see].. Perumal Kovil also done and they spotted one more petty shop selling vadas.. Goddamn, I've been here for more than 2 yrs, i've never ever seen these things.. It started raining, typical Blr weather and Dad started cursing it.. We had stopped for sometime coz of the rain, when Dad kept staring at the Sky.. Mom, "Wat now..??", Dad, "I am staring at Varuna Bhagavan.. He doesn't know abt me.. He ought to stop now". Mom, "Ada Raaama, Unable to bear these days..!!". Me couldn't stop laughing. Next, "Rest", We wanted to say, but mom wouldn't allow, hence started our expedition on MG Road. Right from Trinity Cirlce, crossing Raheja towers, Blore central and Karnataka Silk Emporium, we reached the Brigade road signal. In that evening breeze and drizzling climate, it was certainly "A Walk to Remember". We (this time, me, mom and dad) are always the best friends and could chat on anything and everything, and Blore climate added on to the awesomeness...!!!! After the Brigade road junction, me started buying all the Oosi paasi ornament stuff, Dad was looking for the best coffeee place and mom wanted to see if they sell old age coins(She's a numismatist, whereas we know only to spend ;)).. Finally we met at India Coffee house (It had got shifted to Church Street).. Authentic Karnataka Masala dosa was new to them and the old age ambience and menu surprised them even more.. With the taste still lingering on our tongues, we commenced the walk again. This time a lil tired, the walk wasn't that enjoyable but we dragged on and desperately wanted to hit the bed, which we did in another half an hour..
Sunday..!! :) :( - Mixed emotions for me early morning.. Happy that i m gonna have another nice day and sad that it was just one day..
Again with morning coffee and newspaper, got ready by 1 pm after the usual weekend brunch. :)
Started with shopping Malls, Blore Central first.. Dad wanted a shirt, but he disliked everything very soon and moved on to the Cafe day leaving me and mom in the Women's section. Kurtas were good but somehow we felt that the collection was less, mom picked up a shirt for me and we left.. Next, Garuda Mall, this time straight to the Cafe day behind. Mom initiated a small family topic which clung on to another, i got pissed off, dad tried to convince and finally led to a conflict.. The heat in the argument made people turn towards us, which we realised lately.. Thank God, hunger interrupted and we moved to Food court.. The crowded food court din give us a chance to get back to the argument (Happy Me..!! :)).. All roaming and no buying makes the shopping even more exciting.. But Westside was an exception and our target was the household items section. "Time to leave Garuda Mall, purse is getting lighter and lighter!!!", Dad was thinking, when i reminded mom of the Arts and Crafts exhibition next to Raheja towers.
Pochu da.. Another Shopping spree there with Oosi paasi, household items and wat not..... :) :) Dad, :( :( ..
"Appa, hungry..?? There's Adigas closeby"
"Hmmmkummmm, enku coffee podhum pa...."
"We don want anything!!" [Y would we need..??? :P :)]
So thus ended the happy Sunday, not forgetting to mention about the DBC at Corner house.. :)
The next day, Dad returned back to his schedule leaving the comfort of mom with me for few days..!! Me back to my own routine but with Mom.. Thats really nice...
Not a great happening time, but certain moments neeed to be cherished... Those 2 days wre like that for me..!! I simply said, "Auuuuuussssssssssommmmmmmmm" !!!!!!!!
P.S.: Sometime back, I remember one of my friends mentioning that Blogspot has become more or less like a personal diary.. Yea, true to an extent and thats wat i have did above too... Maybe, I din want to associate the characters above to anyone or anything else, the only justification I m able to give for the complaint.. :)

Idhuvum oru love story than, believe me...!!! Wat to do, All FATe...!! :P
=================================================================================================================================================================================
So, What happens to these relationships when distance increases.. Is it proportional in any way..?? God knows, wat these people have in their minds, why they fight and where
they gonna land up ultimately..
Everything seems to be fine when a guy sees a gal for the first time in coll (or in some cases, even before or a lil later than tht). Later, they get to the normal routine of being "just" friends.. Movie, ice cream, birthday treats, gifts and so on.. so normal until "Bells start ringing on their own, Lights start glowing(Adhuvaraikum power cut ah enna.:P :P)".. Somehow everything gets settled, unofficially they get declared as a couple, Life is more Beautiful... Again "Movie, ice cream, birthday treats, gifts and so on" continues, but this time only the 2 of them.. No one seems to be in between or around them.. Coll comes to an end and there starts the tragedy.!!!!!
Though technology is at its peak and have made distances shorter, nothing can be like having a person next to you when u need them the most.. An nothing can be worse than the depression it gives, when u feel that that someone is far far away - his/her mobile is not reachable, he/she is in idle state in gtalk or he/she says they'll call u back later when u want to talk to them.. Pathetic ofcourse.. And then is when the real life starts for them.. Unlike love stories in 1990s, when things went smooth after both the parents get convinced, now the real villains seem to be either the gal or guy themselves..
Some one has to explain wat "getting settled" means.. Everyone needs to get settled.. Engey sellum indha padhai types... Seriously, no one knows.. The guy wants to get his sis married, the gal wants to complete her higher studies(if she does tht, then the guy will also wish to get the same degree before marriage, idhu oru criteria) and wat not...
Marriage is a word that scares them off.. Life is busy for both of them.. Office, friends, party, studies, seminars, assignments, etc, etc.. Amidst all this, where from to expect love and romance.. All that is there in the minds of both, no way to express. The worst of all, when u fall ill, the other side (who is suppoooosed to be the better half) doesn't even have the slightest knowledge of it..
And to be kept in mind, all these happen after both the side parents get convinced and keep pressing constantly to get married to both of them... Hmmmmmmmmmmmm................. who's mistake is it... Hard to predict..
Watever, Life has to still go on.. go on an on... The next day morning, they need to wake up and get ready to make themselves presentable.. After all, thats also a part of life...
All the Best to the Many..!!
Thumbs up..!!! :)

N(ot)ational A(vailable)nimal (N.A) :)
That was an exciting Saturday morning, as we had planned to celebrate a friend’s birthday in Bannerghatta National Park and Sanctuary. There was not too much of planning required for the trip, so we simply took a BMTC bus to the National park. Our original idea was to simply roam around the park and spend time. But after reaching there, we found out that there are other interesting aspects like Jungle Safari and Butterfly Park. Reluctant to spend more time on the Safari ride [We were quite sure that we would not be able to see many animals], we chose the Lion and Tiger Safari ride. We took our seats close to the window and started to watch out for (if) any animals outside.
Around 2 pm our safari ride started.. “Animals ellam kooda saptu thoongra neram, hmmm”, my dearest friend was mouthing our thoughts.. Lion Safari began, we almost had our heads out of the van, Theeerrrrrrrrrre, under a tree, were one Lion and Lioness sleeping, totally unaware of a van full of people very close to them. It seemed like nothing could disturb them from their deep afternoon nap. With some dry snaps of the sleeping beauties, the lion safari came to an end..
After some 5 minutes ride, the Tiger Safari area started.. By this time, people had become tired putting their heads out and had started comfortably sitting in their places, -[eppadiyum oru 2 tiger than thoongittu irukka pogudhu, adhukku ivlow kashta padanuma].. But much to our surprise and excitement, we started seeing some 2-3 tigers together including some white ones... The sight left us speechless and the van driver started moving towards the streak. We were looking outside with our mouths wide open unable to believe the reality of it..
How Majestic..!! Tiger is one of the animals that need to be treasured from extinction, for the very simple fact that mankind will never want to let go such a picture of beauty, waste..!!
Moving forward, we were able to see more an more of tigers, in streaks of 2 and 3 and there was a wild imagination that if all the 1411 left out, were present here in Bannerghatta only..
One tiger even crossed the road, when our bus paused some 100 metres before it... What I was quite skeptical about was that how come these cruel wild animals act so normal in front of human beings.. Were they ever tamed in spite of living in a sanctuary..??!!?? God only knows.. !! On the whole, that was an exhilarating experience and simply loved it.!!
No wonder such tourist spots are so crowded, in spite of people being so busy and having very less time for recreation and stuff. All the more, it’s only this love of nature that still lets live the spirit of humanity in mankind.
Somewhere, I read that because of the Global warming effect, animals are deprived of water and hence we can help them by keeping a bowl of water outside in the balcony or terrace. But the general strategy to maintain balance in the ecosystem is only by stopping to feed animals.
"Never feed animals. Feeding wildlife damages their health, alters natural behaviors, and exposes them to predators and other dangers. So please do not feed any animals... All ready we turned most of the monkeys and elephants to beggars..." - By one of my friends who is fanatic of Wildlife and Photography.
Another Knowledgeable Excerpt:
There are several reasons commonly given for confining animals in zoos and aquariums:
1. Education of the public, not only teaching them about animals but also promoting conservation.
2. Scientific research on the biology of captive animals, sometimes with an eye to helping save them in the wild.
3. Breeding endangered animals so they can be reintroduced into the wild.
4. Providing the last refuge for a species that will inevitably go extinct.
5. Entertainment for the public, which makes profits for the exhibitors.
But the fact is that, not many of the so called-Well educated-Civilized-Citizens are aware of the above reasons.
Wild Animals protection and conservation is a serious issue in the crisis of their extinction and its high time people who make profit out of the entertainment mend their ways. Ecosystem Balance is also a major concern like Save the Tiger, Save the Earth, Save Paper and Tress campaigns. The Tropical band of the world with the highest percentage of flora and fauna should concentrate more on the ecosystem balance for the rest everything to stabilize. Zoos and Circuses where wild animals are being exploited should be discouraged by the public and government. Let them also live their lives in their own ways.
Its never too late to start and lets start it today only..!!

Mommy
That was one of the biggest Convents in "The Small City". She had always desired that her daughter should be a part of that school not only coz of its proximity to their house. Compared to these days when parents had to stand in queue from the previous night to collect applications, her hubby had even forgotten that the KG applications were being issued on that day. [As of now, assume he’s always busy].
Finally, she had to deprive him of his lunch and literally chase him to get an application form. The doors of the school ofc were abt to close, when he could finally get in hand the last one.
The mommy was never aware that there would be so many steps to be followed before getting her daughter admitted there. She could only manage to take her kid to the written test on time. No preparations, no former teaching, the kid was left to try its fate there. But in 2 days time, much to her delight, the Interview card came. She was so excited and decided not to commit the same mistake again. She started interviewing her daughter herself as small as checking if the kid at least knew the names of the things around her. Poor kid was taken by surprise why she was being questioned so often. :)
The Interview day came, the ever busy Appa was demanded to drop his family in the school.
The kid was astonished to see her mom so tensed [first time] and Dad super cool [Quite normal].
Both the parents went in, to attend the interview along with the child:
[that was a school run by Nuns referred to as Sisters below]
Sister: Hello…!!
Kid: Hullo..!
Sister: What is ur name..??
Kid: Aarthi..
Sister: Inga *********** nu eludhirukku..??!!??
Kid: Adhu enga daddy vecha peru, mummy enna Aarthi nu than koopiduvanga..
Sister: Ok, picture parthu peru sollviya..??
Kid: Oh.. !!
Sister: What is this..?? [Pointing to an elephant picture in an Alphabets book]
Kid: Yaana, [Sis surprised] [Mom regretting, “Achacho, I’ve not taught her what it’s called in English”]
Sister: What is this...?? [PT goat]
Kid: Aadu.. [Mom, “Gone case..!! “]
Sister: Hmm, [Giving up], indha dress nalla irukkey..
Kid: Pattu pavada nalla than irukkum.. enakku idhu than romba pidikkum..
[Mom, ”Aiyo Rama..”]
Sister: Hmm, [Smiling now], yaaru thechu kuduthanga..???
Kid: Enga veetu munnadi oru tailoring miss irukkanga.. avanga than thechu koduthanga.. [Proudly turns to her mom, whos’ almost furious with her daughter’s sweetness]
Sister: Good.. Nalla ponnu.. Amma ta po.. [Smiling now also]
Kid: Mummy... [runs to her mom],
Mom: Ama, nalla idha mattum English la kathu vechukko.. Vaa vandhu thola...
Dad: Seri vidu, next time try pannuvom..
Mom: Ellam ungala sollanum.. En thala eluthu.. :P
She took her daughter home, depressed abt the well performed interview.. She had even instructed her hubby to get another application form, from a kutty school nearby. She felt as if all her wishes had been shattered down. Her Close friend called up, to enquire.. [Idhu vera], she could only cope up telling that they felt there’s one more year for the kid to join school and they’ll try the next year.. [After all the kid was 2.5 years old]
2 Days later..
The Admission Card came home.. :) :)
She rejoiced..!! :)
All the school shopping began happily, notes, books, school uniform, pen, pencil, rubber, school bag, water bottle, lunch bag, shoes and wat not… She had almost purchased everything available in Ranjana Stores [School shopping showroom in the City].
She never knew how strenuous it’s going to be for her in the coming days... She happily sent her daughter to school on The First Day.
The Kid was dropped by her uncle [I told u her Dad was busy] and she earnestly gave back the water bottle to him telling that it might get lost in school. Her mom’s excitement had clung on to her also. ;) It was a half day and when her uncle came to pick her up, she brought another new bottle. On returning home, she realized that it was not hers and started crying that she had brought someone else’s bottle. Somehow mommy consoled and asked her to return it back the next day. :)
Hence started the ‘Mommy sending cutie to school everyday, preparing breakfast and lunch, making her do homework, sitting with her until she completes, encouraging her and aspiring for her’ Schedule. The Schedule had been so long, that it continued until the gal finished her Engineering in a Reputed College. Mommy’s life had always been brimmed up only with things about her daughter, her studies, her exams, her teenage and now marriage. :)
This is dedicated to all the Lovely Mommies who always love to grow up once again with their children in their own natural way..:)
Mom, this is especially for U.. Love u and Miss u Lots.. :)

How do I start...??!!??
Just wondering how and where do I start from.. [I am ofcourse aware of the fact that the answer to this question would be some dearie mokkais.. :P] Well, a short preface would be something like..., an idea to pen down my thoughts.. [I guess it isn't too formal]
Two of my friends have been much interested in blogging [I should mention that I was very much impressed by their posts] since very long whereas i used to simply follow them and to some extent was even unaware that I had a blog profile on my own..
Off late, I somehow clicked on my name in their links and hence discovered the home page of my blog. :)
