Mommy

That was one of the biggest Convents in "The Small City". She had always desired that her daughter should be a part of that school not only coz of its proximity to their house. Compared to these days when parents had to stand in queue from the previous night to collect applications, her hubby had even forgotten that the KG applications were being issued on that day. [As of now, assume he’s always busy].
Finally, she had to deprive him of his lunch and literally chase him to get an application form. The doors of the school ofc were abt to close, when he could finally get in hand the last one.
The mommy was never aware that there would be so many steps to be followed before getting her daughter admitted there. She could only manage to take her kid to the written test on time. No preparations, no former teaching, the kid was left to try its fate there. But in 2 days time, much to her delight, the Interview card came. She was so excited and decided not to commit the same mistake again. She started interviewing her daughter herself as small as checking if the kid at least knew the names of the things around her. Poor kid was taken by surprise why she was being questioned so often. :)
The Interview day came, the ever busy Appa was demanded to drop his family in the school.
The kid was astonished to see her mom so tensed [first time] and Dad super cool [Quite normal].
Both the parents went in, to attend the interview along with the child:
[that was a school run by Nuns referred to as Sisters below]

Sister: Hello…!!

Kid: Hullo..!

Sister: What is ur name..??

Kid: Aarthi..

Sister: Inga *********** nu eludhirukku..??!!??

Kid: Adhu enga daddy vecha peru, mummy enna Aarthi nu than koopiduvanga..

Sister: Ok, picture parthu peru sollviya..??

Kid: Oh.. !!

Sister: What is this..?? [Pointing to an elephant picture in an Alphabets book]

Kid: Yaana, [Sis surprised] [Mom regretting, “Achacho, I’ve not taught her what it’s called in English”]

Sister: What is this...?? [PT goat]

Kid: Aadu.. [Mom, “Gone case..!! “]

Sister: Hmm, [Giving up], indha dress nalla irukkey..

Kid: Pattu pavada nalla than irukkum.. enakku idhu than romba pidikkum..
[Mom, ”Aiyo Rama..”]

Sister: Hmm, [Smiling now], yaaru thechu kuduthanga..???

Kid: Enga veetu munnadi oru tailoring miss irukkanga.. avanga than thechu koduthanga.. [Proudly turns to her mom, whos’ almost furious with her daughter’s sweetness]

Sister: Good.. Nalla ponnu.. Amma ta po.. [Smiling now also]

Kid: Mummy... [runs to her mom],

Mom: Ama, nalla idha mattum English la kathu vechukko.. Vaa vandhu thola...

Dad: Seri vidu, next time try pannuvom..

Mom: Ellam ungala sollanum.. En thala eluthu.. :P

She took her daughter home, depressed abt the well performed interview.. She had even instructed her hubby to get another application form, from a kutty school nearby. She felt as if all her wishes had been shattered down. Her Close friend called up, to enquire.. [Idhu vera], she could only cope up telling that they felt there’s one more year for the kid to join school and they’ll try the next year.. [After all the kid was 2.5 years old]

2 Days later..

The Admission Card came home.. :) :)

She rejoiced..!! :)

All the school shopping began happily, notes, books, school uniform, pen, pencil, rubber, school bag, water bottle, lunch bag, shoes and wat not… She had almost purchased everything available in Ranjana Stores [School shopping showroom in the City].

She never knew how strenuous it’s going to be for her in the coming days... She happily sent her daughter to school on The First Day.

The Kid was dropped by her uncle [I told u her Dad was busy] and she earnestly gave back the water bottle to him telling that it might get lost in school. Her mom’s excitement had clung on to her also. ;) It was a half day and when her uncle came to pick her up, she brought another new bottle. On returning home, she realized that it was not hers and started crying that she had brought someone else’s bottle. Somehow mommy consoled and asked her to return it back the next day. :)

Hence started the ‘Mommy sending cutie to school everyday, preparing breakfast and lunch, making her do homework, sitting with her until she completes, encouraging her and aspiring for her’ Schedule. The Schedule had been so long, that it continued until the gal finished her Engineering in a Reputed College. Mommy’s life had always been brimmed up only with things about her daughter, her studies, her exams, her teenage and now marriage. :)

This is dedicated to all the Lovely Mommies who always love to grow up once again with their children in their own natural way..:)

Mom, this is especially for U.. Love u and Miss u Lots.. :)

How do I start...??!!??

Just wondering how and where do I start from.. [I am ofcourse aware of the fact that the answer to this question would be some dearie mokkais.. :P] Well, a short preface would be something like..., an idea to pen down my thoughts.. [I guess it isn't too formal]

Two of my friends have been much interested in blogging [I should mention that I was very much impressed by their posts] since very long whereas i used to simply follow them and to some extent was even unaware that I had a blog profile on my own..

Off late, I somehow clicked on my name in their links and hence discovered the home page of my blog. :)
